Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy Back to Top

Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy is the foundation treatment for most clients. This type of massage heals damaged muscles from the inside, out. When muscles become dry, tight and glued together, the average massage technique will not completely resolve the problem. 'Pfrimmer' is the true form of deep tissue massage which heals damaged tissue, clears away scar tissue, balances fascial restriction, breaks up adhesions and much more. This form of deep tissue therapy is carefully provided to each client within their level of comfort as too much force can cause undo pain which is counterproductive to the work. Trigger Point Therapy Back to Top

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.

CranioSacral (SM) Back to Top

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.

CranioSacral Fascial Therapy Back to Top

CranioSacral therapy with the added focus of the fascial system. The fascia is a full body connective tissue web that can apply tremendous pressure to the nerves, muscles, organs, and bones.

Reflexology Back to Top

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Energy Work Back to Top

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.

Reiki Back to Top

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.

Swedish Massage Back to Top

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Lymphatic Facilitation Back to Top

Lymphatic massage (also called lymphatic facilitation or manual lymphatic  drainage) increases lymph flow 8-10 times. This removes harmful substances from  your tissues, nourishes tissues, reduces inflammation, and generally increases immune function.

Equine Massage Therapy Back to Top

$75 per Visit

I have worked with numerous horses over the years using a revised technique of Pfrimmer and energy work. Pfrimmer is so scientifically based that it is easily adaptable to working with horses. Many horses that have bad behavior are doing so because they hurt. Symptoms such as being 'girthy', hollowing their backs when being ridden, ducking out at jumps, and sensitivity while being brushed are just a few ways that horses try to 'tell us' that there's a problem.
