Arriving Late/Not Arriving for scheduled session We understand that obstacles occur and it helps us a great deal if you call and let us know if you are running late. We always do our best to accommodate you and can generally can work with a 5 minute delay, however, if your delay will be longer than this, we will likely have to shorten your session by that amount of time.
If you are not present for your scheduled session during the first 15 minutes (unless having informed us you might be late), we will assume that you are not coming for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time, your therapist will work with you to determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session. Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for payment of the full session.
Cancellations At PAMT we understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Sick children, car problems, weather, and illness are just a few of the reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to our clients’ and therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies: 24-hours of advance notice is required when canceling an individual appointment. This allows the opportunity for another client to take advantage of that open time in the schedule. If you are unable to give a minimum of 24-hours advance notice, and we are unable to fill your time slot, we will mail an invoice for a cancellation fee of 50% of what would have been your total fee. This balance must be paid in full at or prior to your next appointment.
If we are able to fill your time slot with another client, you will not be invoiced for 50% of the fee for the missed appointment.
